Conditions regarding transferring your cassettes to CD(s) include:
Time involved in going from cassette tape to CD depends upon the difficulty of doing so due to age of the tape(s) and how much usable audible footage there is. Of course the fewer the number of tapes submitted the faster the process.
- We require that your cassettes tape(s) have family-friendly material recorded on them.
- Additional fee applies if extra attention is needed to properly transfer the tape(s) due to their condition, i.e. tape repairs.
What we'll do with your tape(s)
- Use the utmost care in handling them.
- We don’t send them out anywhere for conversion. We do it right here in Roanoke.
- Returned to you with your finished CD(s)
How we will burn your audio files to CD:
- We capture your audio cassette(s) in WAV format and burn it to a standard CD which can be played in any CD player. The CD will hold 80 minutes of recording.
- Cassette tape of 60 minutes or shorter will go on to a single audio CD with two tracks with side A being one and side B being the other.
- A cassette of 90 minutes or 120 minutes will be converted to a set of two audio CD’s if the tapes are full. One CD for side A (one track) and another CD for side B (one track).
Prices:
$20 per tape up to 80 minutes in recorded material length. The charge for tapes with recordings exceeding 80 minutes will be adjusted accordingly.
- Additional copies of each finished audio CD: $3.00 each
If I mail my tape(s) to you, does the $20 transfer cover sending my completed project back, too?
No. Once the project is completed I will find out shipping cost to you.
Do you return my audio cassettes?
Absolutely! Your audio cassette(s) will be rubber-banded to their respective tape(s)
What happens if parts of my tape(s) is/are blank?
We will do our best to cut as much as possible out.
